Dr. Shiyao Ding is a multiagent systems researcher with working experience in both academia and industry. Currently, he is an assistant professor at Kyoto University. His research is about multi-agent systems, consensus informatics, reinforcement learning and its industry applications like edge cloud computing. He was awarded Best Student Paper Award for his research on graph convolutional reinforcement learning at IEEE-ICA 2021. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Informatics from Kyoto University, Sep. 2022.

2024/5/9 Our first Drone Routing Problems (DRP) Challenge@AAMAS2024 was successfully held @ New Zealand. We gathered 10 teams with total 13 participants at this time.

2024/3/20~23 With the participation of the 2023 Asian Informatics Seminar, I visited the Hong Kong Baptist University, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University together with professors of the Graduate School of Informatics, and gave a presentation on “Decision Making in the Era of Large Language Models.
2024/1/26 Based on the joint research with the ESL institute of Panasonic Corporation, our proposal “Drone Routing Problems (DRP) Challenge” was selected for the competition at AAMAS2024, which is the top conference in the multi-agent domain.
